Terms of Use
These terms govern access to FiberMan Cloud Services, including geocoding, map delivery, catalog, administration, and usage services.
Effective: 27 August 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply when you access FiberMan Cloud Services directly or through an authorized FiberMan installation. You must be authorized by the customer responsible for that installation. Your FiberMan order, subscription, licence, or other commercial agreement remains the controlling agreement. If these Terms conflict with that agreement, the commercial agreement controls.
2. The service
Cloud Services may provide address geocoding, map styles and assets, a licensed-source catalog, service authentication, administration, quotas, and usage reporting. Features can vary by region, installation, provider availability, contractual rights, and configured limits. The service is not an emergency, navigation-safety, surveying, cadastral, or life-safety system. Verify important locations and map data against authoritative sources.
3. Google Maps features
FiberMan includes Google Maps Platform features and content when Google geocoding is enabled. By using those features, you also agree to the current Google Maps End User Additional Terms and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Google-provided results and attribution remain subject to Google's applicable documentation and service terms. FiberMan does not grant ownership of Google Maps content.
4. Map data and third-party sources
Basemaps, imagery, overlays, and other catalog items can be supplied by third parties. Each item may carry its own attribution, geographic coverage, caching, redistribution, and commercial-use rules. You must preserve required attribution and may enable restricted material only when your organization holds the necessary rights. Catalog metadata helps explain a source; it is not a substitute for the provider's licence or for legal review.
5. Acceptable use and security
- Do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe privacy, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.
- Do not bypass quotas, access controls, licence attestations, provider restrictions, or technical safeguards.
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute provider content unless the applicable licence expressly permits it.
- Keep installation credentials, API keys, administrator sessions, and access tokens confidential.
- Do not submit secrets or unnecessary sensitive personal information as geocoding search text.
6. Quotas and charges
Requests can be subject to per-minute, monthly, provider, or installation limits. The default hosted geocoding allowance is 500 requests per licensed installation per calendar month unless your commercial agreement or an administrator-configured limit says otherwise. Additional use or paid providers may incur charges described in the applicable commercial agreement.
7. Availability and changes
Provider outages, maintenance, legal restrictions, security events, or exhausted quotas can interrupt individual capabilities. The operator may suspend access needed to protect customers, providers, or the service, and may change or discontinue a capability subject to the applicable commercial agreement.
8. Privacy
The FiberMan Cloud Services Privacy Notice explains the service data flow, including what is sent to Google when geocoding is enabled. Customer administrators are responsible for informing their users and configuring FiberMan consistently with applicable privacy law.
9. Responsibility and governing terms
Warranties, support commitments, liability limits, termination rights, governing law, and dispute procedures are those in your FiberMan commercial agreement and mandatory applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
